Activator/Accelerators (A/A) 
Tech-Bond's Activator/ Accelerators are designed to work with all Tech-Bond Bonding Agents.  Use of the A/A will cause the Bonding Agents to set within seconds and for that bond to reach operational strength in minutes.  Operational strength is defined as ninety percent of full strength. 

Use of A/A is recommended with porous materials, minimal surface area joins, plastics and/or when cross-bonding dissimilar materials.   Please read the instructions how to use the A/A.


Foam Safe Activator/Accelerators (FSA/A)
Tech-Bond's standard Activator/Accelerator contains acetone and melts open cell foams.  Our Foam Safe Activator/Accelerator does not harm open cell foams.  Formulated with Heptane, our Foam Safe Activator/Accelerator is also safer to use with SOME finished surfaces.  Testing on each of these surfaces is required.    

Our heptane based Foam Safe Activator/Accelerator is slower setting than our standard A/A.  For many of our professional, business and industrial clients, FSA/A doesn't do the job required as efficiently as needed.   FSA/A is a standard part of our Foam Safe RC kits.
